The Unique Blogger Award!

Thanks Sophie @ blame it on chocolate for nominating me! It means a lot. You should all check out her blog, it’s amazing!

RULES:

  • Share the link of the blogger who has shown love to you by nominating you.
  • Answer the questions.
  • In the spirit of sharing love and solidarity with our blogging family, nominate 8-13 people for the same award.
  • Ask them three questions.

QUESTIONS:

Did you have a favorite toy when you were little, and if so, do you still own it?

Okay, when I was younger, I was scared of the dark. Like, I got nightmares about it. So my aunt got me this CareBear teddy bear that glowed in the dark. That helped little me a lot. And yes, I still have it…

If you could get a lifetime supply of anything at all, what would you choose to get?

Oh…oh dear…maybe…entertainment? I can’t decide between books or TV shows…darn.

If you had to choose any song to play at the most important event of your life, what would it be?

Dang…there are so many songs I like! And it depends on the event…let’s just say, hypothetically, I become a popular author in the future, and I win an award…I’d probably choose soundtrack music, like, no lyrics. Maybe Who You Really Are from Sherlock? It starts off with violins, then ends with a lot of fun.

MY QUESTIONS:

(I’m not good at asking questions…sorry!)

Think back one year; what books/TV shows/fandoms were you into, and are you still into them?

Which books had a cover change that you liked?

What’s your favorite source of sugar? (Can be pastries, ice cream, candy…)

I NOMINATE:

 A book, a thought

Yopham
Midnight Ranter
Little Booky Nook
Nadwa @ painfully fictional
Ava
Girl on the go

  1. Thanks for nominating me! A life supply of entertainment, that’s a great answer! And I love what you said about the third question, “It starts of with violins, then ends with a lot of fun.” 😄 I’m rooting for your future self by the way, I hope it comes true!

I’ve watched the first episode of Steins;Gate, and I’m currently watching episode two. I was partially confused (But lo! The bananas!) but I have a theory!! The mc seems to be in different time frames (I’m just guessing, the first episode lead me to believe there were gaps of time that he didn’t exist which is why everything changed so suddenly.) If he wasn’t present during that hour or time frame, it must of meant that his future self probably went back in a time where his present self existed. Logically, I think time rewrote itself to stabilize the timeline where a future self existed with the past self, and made the past self nonexistent while the future self was there. It might explain all the changes in the events vs the scientist’s (I didn’t catch his name yet, I’m watching the dub) memory. Also where his colleagues remember a different time than he did (he wasn’t present during the changes in his world so he still remembers everything that happened previously, so it makes sense that he wasn’t aware of a different/parallel world).

But to be fair, I’m probably very wrong and I honestly have no idea what I’m talking about. I’ll keep watching to see if I’m right.

    1. Haha, no problem! Aw, thanks so much! Thinking logically, it probably won’t happen, but…I hope it will.
Yay! Steins;Gate! Don’t worry, it is a little confusing at first; much wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff. And interesting theory! You’ll just have to wait and see…😉 And his real name is Rintaro Okabe, but he has nicknames like Okarin and Hyouin Kyouma. It’s a little confusing, hence my explanation.
That’s okay! Your theory was very interesting to read!

      1. I hope it will happen too! 😉 And I was sort of right? I guess? The grandfather theory doesn’t exists here! That’s actually really cool, so it’s basically discussing dimensions. (I think, I have no idea.) (I’m still on episode 2.) The name thing did throw me off at first, thanks for clearing that up! I like all the characters already, some of them have a lot of humor to them and it’s fun to watch. Rintaro is the perfect definition of a mad scientist, haha. And thanks, it’s nice to know that my theory was interesting!

      2. Heh heh, you’ll see what happens… Yeah, the name thing also threw me off, but I managed to figure it out like, halfway through the series. Didn’t want someone else to have to deal with that, the series has enough time travel confusion already. The characters are really likeable, they’re all funny and quirky in different ways.

      3. The suspense! I can’t take it! And thanks again for that, I’m still confused about the timey-wimey stuff. (I also don’t know the name of the girl with the red hair, but she referenced Doctor Who!) I love the characterss, their personalities are really interesting and fun!

  2. Congratulations and thank you for thinking of me! Wow, a glow in the dark teddy bear sounds so cool.
I just did this award just a while back so I sadly won’t be able to do the post, but I’ll answer your questions here!😊
    1) Last year in July I had gotten into the Dan and Phil Fandom (they’re youtubers) and I’m proud to say that I still obsess over them, though it’s lessened a bit now.
    2) The new covers of The Mortal Instruments are very pretty! I love them.
    3) Cakes and muffins! They’re so tastyy (and now I want to go eat one).
    Awesome questions!
    Thanks again 💙

    1. Thanks!
Ah, that’s okay. Sorry I didn’t realize! (WordPress did some weird stuff, so it’s harder to get to my followers blogs 😢).
I know of Dan and Phil. I have two friends who are obsessed with them, hahah. And I love the new TMI covers! My library has the old ones…and I kinda shrunk back. I dunno, they just don’t look good. Although the new ones look amazing! And cake! Yum! I enjoy muffins, but I’ve only had blueberry. I may have to try chocolate chip…
And thanks so much for answering my questions!

      1. No problem at all! I’m glad you thought of me for this award. 🙂
That’s good to know! They’re great people, maybe you could check out their videos sometime?
The new covers are attractive but the old are just average, so I can see why you would want to read from the newer ones. But hey the story is the same, and it’s pretty good, so nevermind the covers!
I don’t happen to have a cake or a muffin with me rn and this is making me so hungry. Will have to go get some ASAP.
The pleasure is all mine! I loved answering them. 😊

      2. I might have to check them out sometimes.
Yeah, I was mainly talking about the City of Bones cover. Ugh, who would think of putting a shirtless Jace on the cover? Like, no. And I know the story is the same, I was just doing a cover rant, lol.
Aww. Go get a cake or muffin! For exams and school stuff! You will need the sugar!

      3. I hope you like them!
I know right? It doesnt look good at all! I sometimes rant about covers too. I’m glad they changed the covers.
Aw thanks! I’ll do that. Hopefully, I’ll have one on Sat to celebrate your birthday! 😊

  3. Aw that teddy bear sounds adorable! And so sweet of your aunt to give it to you so you’d sleep better 🙂 It’s nice that you kept something with that much sentimental value, too.
I’ve just listened to the Sherlock song and it sounds phenomenal! Definitely fit for almost every occasion, I’d say. Great choice ^^
    And great post!
