I can’t believe it. Not just how behind I am on tags and awards, but… Four bloggers nominated me for this award! (Screams happily). However, due to the size of this post, I shall cut it in half. Thanks Jamie @ Book Pandamonium and YoPham for nominating me! They are both amazing book bloggers, and you need to check them out ASAP! What are you waiting for?
Don’t worry Tiana and Icebreaker694! I haven’t forgotten you gutsy! I’ll just answer your questions in the next post!
The Rules:
- Thank the person who nominated you in a blog post and link back to their blog.
- Answer the 11 questions sent by the person who nominated you.
- Nominate 11 new blogs to receive the award and write then 11 new questions.
- List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award logo in your post and/or on your blog.
Jamie’s Questions:
1. What’s your favorite smell? (Is that a weird question??)
Heh, it’s a little weird…but not bad! 😊 I would have to say…maybe chocolate? Or vanilla? Grapefruit? Something like that.
2. Did you have a favorite movie when you were little?
I had two: Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and My Neighbor Totoro.
3. What’s one thing you have planned in 2017 that you’re really excited for?
I don’t even know what I’m doing tomorrow, to be honest. So I can’t really say.
4. Favorite song? (Or just a song you’ve been listening to a lot recently)
lol…I guess a song I’ve been listening to lately would be Unravel (A.K.A the Tokyo Ghoul theme). I dunno, I just really like it!
5. If you had to choose, would you rather lose your hearing or your vision?
I’d be sad either way, but I guess my hearing. I’m learning ASL (I’m really bad at it though), but everything I like to do requires my sight.
6. Marvel or DC? Or neither?
In my opinion, both. Because Marvel makes better movies and DC makes better TV shows. There are exceptions, but this is usually how it goes to me.
7. If you were to write a children’s book, what would it be about?
Well, I plan to be a YA writer, so I have too many ideas, actually. (Sigh)
8. Do you prefer the outdoors or the indoors?
I typically remain indoors, but after a while, I need fresh air. So while I like to stay inside most of the time, I also need to go out a lot.
9. Who’s your favorite artist?
What kind do you mean? Well, I’ll do a few for the varying types:
Artist in general: well, both my parents work in the arts department, so them! 😊
Writer: too many to count, but if I had to choose one for the sake of the writing style, Markus Zusak.
Webtoon artist: this sort of gives away a future list, but, oh well; if I had to choose out of the many amazing artists out there…I’d choose two. Instantmiso and Snailords. I mean, look at this:
10. Would you rather read a fluffy book or a gritty book?
I tend to lean towards psychological thrillers, so gritty.
11. What do you hate that everyone else seems to like?
Hate is a bit much, but…caramel. I like it with chocolate, and I like it with some Starbucks drinks, but alone or on ice cream? No thanks.
YoPham’s Questions:
What is the longest you have gone without sleep? Why?
I once stayed up till 2:30 when I had to get up at 6:00. Why? Homework.
What are you most proud of?
Uh…I self published a book last November?
Link: The Melting Pot
Which movie did you last watch?
Braveheart. I know it’s incredibly historically inaccurate, but I still enjoyed it a lot.
What is a skill you would like to learn?
Easy! Languages or music. Languages, just to survive the school credits. Music, because I wish I could play instruments.
What do you miss from your childhood?
The lack of homework, not feeling the need to sleep in, and being able to play and read as much as I wanted.
What do you look forward to in your adult life?
I have no idea. I dunno what the future will bring. Sure, I have hopes…but I don’t know whether they’ll come true.
What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever done?
Oh gosh…maybe spraining my pinky finger by falling off a swing? (I meant to jump off the swing to avoid a dog, but instead fell backwards and was promptly showered in kisses by said dog).
If you were trapped in a TV shows, which one would it be?
I literally watch so many gritty shows that I have no idea which one. I don’t want to be killed off right way. Maybe Doctor Who, as long as I don’t encounter Weeping Angels.
Are you an extrovert, ambivert, or introvert?
I suppose I’m more introverted. While I do get energy by conversing with friends, as long as it’s a small group. But there’s a reason school drains me so much, I think.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
Probably still in America, as I don’t really know any other countries so well. I’m not good at languages, sadly.
What’s your favorite thing to do by yourself?
Mm…read books and Webtoons, work on my blog, watch TV…typical stuff.
That’s all! I won’t be nominating anyone or asking any questions today because this is just one half of a post. But I’ll nominate and ask questions in the next post! Thanks.
I loved your answers! I wouldn’t survive a DW episode, I’ll probably do something really dumb and get caught be monsters, and weeping angel scare me to death. I love the art by Miso and SnaiLords, I wish their talent could rub off me. Also the reason to why I stayed up so late once was because I was reading a good book and I wanted to finish it. 🙂

Eh! Sorry for the reply, but I just want to say that I can’t wait for the second half of your post! Also I said “be” instead of “by”, I’m sorry again, I also have typos.

I know, I’d probably mess up too. 😂 I mainly just needed to answer. Same…I read so many Webtoons. Why oh why can’t their talent influence me more? That’s a good reason to stay awake, lol.
No problem! Sometimes I hit reply before I’m done too. And typos are all right; you did put in “by” though, so it’s okay.

At least the Doctor will be there if we both mess up. 😄 I learned a bit about art from looking at Webtoons, but it’s still lost on me. And that’s a relief, but I still type lots of typos it’s crazy.

Lol, true! And yeah, I do try to mimic the art styles, but it never looks quite right. 😔 It’s okay to type typos. It’s natural, I think. How far have you gotten in Bastard?

Love your answers! Unravel is SUCH a good opening. And that’s so cool that you’re learning ASL, that’s a great skill to have. And I wish I could learn languages too…I took 4 years of french and I still don’t know anything about it lol.

Oh my gosh, I am so sorry I didn’t reply earlier…and Unravel is so beautiful, oh my gosh. I found the full version and love it! Heh, I’m learning ASL, but I’m so bad at it…ugh. Languages, why?
