What Anime Should I Check Out Next?

So…I finished Noragami Aragoto the other day…(expect a review soon). I am still watching Monster independently, and watching Durarara!! with my mom, but sometimes, I need a break from Monster. (It’s a LONG series). So, that’s why I decided to do this poll! I wanted to see which anime I could watch in between Monster. Since it’s a long poll, you can vote twice. I’ll make sure to announce the winners in a week or so.

Even if you don’t know any of them, just vote for the one with the coolest name, or you’ve heard about the most. πŸ˜‰

  1. Hey wait, you’ve seen Ergo Proxy haven’t you?

I wanted to vote Psycho Pass too but I feel like you’re going to get a lot of votes for that. Instead I voted My Little Monster. It’s short and sweet, and I had a lot of fun watching it. Give it a go if you’re not overloaded.

    1. Well, I did last year, but then I got really busy around half way through and couldn’t watch it for over a month. And then I didn’t want to rewatch what I’d already seen, so it’s been a temporary DNF for a while.
Okay, that’s an interesting recommendation! We’ll see how it turns out.

  2. I haven’t seen many of these, but Eden of the East is one of them and I loved it. I think there are a couple of seasons/OVAs, so it’s not a huge series.

I’d like to see One Punch Man since it’s so popular, but I don’t know a whole lot about it. I have the first volume of the manga to get through myself. πŸ™‚

  3. You have cooler parents than me. I can’t imagine my mom ever watching something like Durarara.

I voted for Fate Zero and Psycho-Pass. From your list I also rate Code Geass highly.

    1. Well, I think my dad would agree with you on that πŸ˜‚ He always walks in on the wrong moments during Durarara. And I also got my mom into Attack on Titan; she even randomly asked me during a car ride, “What do you think’s in the basement?” πŸ˜‚
That’s cool to know! I actually started Code Geass last year but sadly got busy and never finished it. I didn’t really want to rewatch what I’d already seen. But now I’m like: time to stop being lazy!

  4. If you want a mellow story, I’d say Mushishi. Psycho Pass has some good action, but can be dark. Death Parade is very psychological and bittersweet. Code Geass has dark elements, but also marries them to the levity of high school.
