After doing non-stop tags for a while, I decided to write a lot of reviews. Well, now I hope to get on a more balanced schedule. Thanks Icebreaker for nominating me for this award! WHY DID YOU START A BLOG IN THE FIRST PLACE?
Well…I’ll save the detailed answer for my 1 year blogging anniversary post in two months. 🙂 My short answer is this: I was planning on making a site for my self published book, The Melting Pot, but has since evolved (or devolved, depends on your take lol) to become about a lot of stuff. It’s a little bit of a disaster of different posts at times.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BOOK?
Why would you ask me this…hard! Well, my latest liked book is Lady Midnight, so let’s go with that.
WHAT DO YOU DISLIKE THE MOST?
Um…wow, that’s vague. I guess…my writing (at times), feeling sick, having no notifications on WordPress (lol), having a ton of likes on my first poll post, but having like, 9 votes, flaky friends…Okay, I’m getting too personal. Moving on!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FOOD AT THE MALL?
My mall isn’t terribly well stocked (cries). I guess I like soft pretzel bites and Panda Express (which isn’t at my local mall). Oh, and Cinnabun!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PAST TIME?
Why are these so vague and open ended… Um, writing (or more likely, procrastinating on Wattpad) playing with my cats, reading books and Webtoons, watching TV and anime, and taking walks (which I like to do when it’s not so darn hot out).

1. The “about” section of my site covers why I created a blog. Basically I wanted my own online place to post the geeky reviews I used to write for other companies.
2. Gunslinger Girl and Death Note are my fave manga. In terms of traditional books I would pick something from Stephen King. Misery or the Shawshank Redemption perhaps.
3. I dislike arrogant people. Video game censorship also makes my blood boil.
4. We don’t really have malls where I live. Does the fried chicken my supermarket sells count?
5. Video games and anime are my main hobbies. No surprise there!

2. Death Note manga is amazing! I love it too. And I also like Stephen King! I liked most of the novellas in Different Seasons, Shawshank Redemption definitely included.

Thanks for the nom, and of course, congrats on yours! Yep, Lady Midnight has had to be one of my favorite books I’ve read this year no doubt. LORD OF SHADOWS THO. I mean it was FANTASTIC but I nearly FAINTED reading it. That, that book is a danger hazard. If I read that as an elderly lady, I would’ve had a heart attack lol. Have you read it yet? Hahahaha 9 votes, same here. Ugh the mall near my house sucks. Like it’s actually one of the saddest malls you have probably ever witnessed. I live like an hour away (two hours with traffic haha :p) from a big city though so I guess it’s fine…

Thanks! And Lady Midnight was really good. I started Lord of Shadows and I’m liking it a lot so far too. Oh dear…well then. I’m a little worried for my own health while reading it too, haha. My mall is kind of sad too; we don’t have a lot either.
