(My Very Late) Fierce Fangirl Friday: My Latest Bought Books

I meant to post this yesterday, but…yeah…I ran out of time…😅 so here it is, my very late fierce Fangirl Friday! (Saturday).
This meme was created by Jackie @ Too Much of a Book Nerd.
Anyway, my latest bought books are…

Summary: Jasper "Jazz" Dent is a likable teenager. A charmer, one might say. But he's also the son of the world's most infamous serial killer, and for Dear Old Dad, Take Your Son to Work Day was year-round. Jazz has witnessed crime scenes the way cops wish they could—from the criminal's point of view. And now bodies are piling up in Lobo's Nod. In an effort to clear his name, Jazz joins the police in a hunt for a new serial killer. But Jazz has a secret—could he be more like his father than anyone knows?
Why did I buy this book? Well, it sounds like an amazing mystery and psychological thriller? (Hides) And…and…because when I read the summary, my first thought was of this:

Yes. One of the reasons I bought this was because it made me think of one of my favorite Webtoons: Bastard. (Hides) I feel so ashamed…

Anyway, another is:

Summary: There’s no such thing as safe in a city at war, a city overrun with monsters. In this dark urban fantasy from author Victoria Schwab, a young woman and a young man must choose whether to become heroes or villains—and friends or enemies—with the future of their home at stake. Kate Harker and August Flynn are the heirs to a divided city—a city where the violence has begun to breed actual monsters. All Kate wants is to be as ruthless as her father, who lets the monsters roam free and makes the humans pay for his protection. All August wants is to be human, as good-hearted as his own father, to play a bigger role in protecting the innocent—but he’s one of the monsters. One who can steal a soul with a simple strain of music. When the chance arises to keep an eye on Kate, who’s just been kicked out of her sixth boarding school and returned home, August jumps at it. But Kate discovers August’s secret, and after a failed assassination attempt the pair must flee for their lives.
I just thought this sounded interesting! (And no, I didn't buy it because one of the MCs has my name…I may buy books because they remind me of my favorite Webtoons, but even I'm not that shallow). I'm interested in the "can steal a soul with a simple strain of music". That sounds unique and interesting!
And finally, my latest book is…
I bought it on Amazon just last night…
I'm expecting it either Monday or Tuesday….
It's…

YES, I BOUGHT IT. I CAN'T WAIT. I'VE BEEN WAITING TWO YEARS FOR THIS, MY FRIENDS! I JUST CAN'T WAIT!
And this concludes my Fierce Fangirl Friday (on Saturday). 😉

      1. Glad to hear it ^^ ADSOM is about Kell, an Antari (magician of sorts) who can travel between worlds, and some very dangerous adventures. I think it’s best to know as little as possible about the plot before you dive into it, so I’ll leave it at that 😉
I hope you enjoy it, when you get to read it!
