Marvel’s The Avengers Book Tag

Thanks to Sam @ River Moose Books for tagging me for this! Did you know I am also a big Marvel fan? Well…I am.

Iron Man – a book that made you laugh out loud:

Okay. There are a lot of books that make me chuckle here and there, mainly due to surprise sass. But I can’t think of any books that are truly funny. So, I dunno. Books like Mr. Mercedes and Crooked Kingdom have me made chuckle at certain parts, but they aren’t truly funny.

Captain America – a book that sends a positive message:

I can think of so many books like this too…I’ll go with the school book I’m reading (or rereading) again: I am the Messenger. (I just like that I know the ending and no one else in my class does…hehe.)

Thor – a book with a characters strength you admire:

I could only hope to be as cool as Inej or Nina someday.

Black Widow – a book with a kick-ass female protagonist:

I’m gonna go with someone a little less conventional and say Viola from The Knife of Never Letting Go.

Hulk-  a book that made you incredibly angry:

Anyone who read my review knows how much this book irked me.

Hawkeye – an underrated book you think more people should pay attention to

If you like psychological thrillers and mysteries with great character work, PLEASE do yourself a favor and read this series. The first book is good, but the second and third ones are even better.

{BONUS} Loki – a book with a twist or surprise that tricked you:

I pride myself on figuring out plot twists. But I didn’t see the ending to this one.

I Tag:

Anyone who wants to do this tag. I know it’s probably popular, so just do it if you want to!

  1. Pretty cool answers here! I haven’t read any of these but I’m familiar with your Hawkeye choices, considering you’ve mentioned them so much I almost feel like I’ve known about them for ages hahaha
Little Monsters intrigues me and I definitely plan on reading the SoC duology. Hopefully Bardugo delivers! I’m just glad it has two of the most badass female characters ever, too.
    Great post, Kate 🙂

    1. Hahaha…I do mention them a lot, don’t I? Well, they became one of my favorite series, so I guess I do fangirl a lot. Little Monsters has been divisive, but my psychological thriller heart loved it. It’s so dark, especially for a YA story. But I loved it. And SoC takes some time to get into, just fair warning, but once it gets going, it gets going.
