Can I just say I love Harris’ writing? Once I finish this book, I can gush about it then, but it’s not just his descriptions, as beautifully vivid as they are. It’s that, he does so much showing, rather than telling. Unusually for a psychological story, we don’t hear much from characters’ inner dialogue, and yet it’s effective and works.
