Here’s a secret: I have not seen this movie, and haven’t much of a desire to. But, I did grow up with the Justice League cartoons, so I do know what I am talking about…

BATMAN: YOU FAVORITE ANTIHERO:
I have to go with either Kaz Brekker from the Six of Crows duology or Jazz Dent from I Hunt Killers.
AQUAMAN: A BOOK OR CHARACTER THAT TURNED OUT TO BE BETTER THAN YOU EXPECTED (BECAUSE LET’S BE REAL, WE DID NOT EXPECT KHAL DROGO TO MAKE AQUAMAN COOL)
When I first heard about this book, I thought it sounded kind of boring, like the typical, “teenage girl goes missing” kind of book. But oh my gosh, this was so dark, I’m surprised this is a YA book.
WONDER WOMAN: MOST BADASS FEMALE CHARACTER (NOT NECESSARILY IN A PHYSICAL SENSE)
I just finished this book, and oh my gosh, was it good. I was so addicted. Clarice Starling is an awesome protagonist; she’s so intelligent and tough, and is more than a match for most serial killers.
CYBORG: FAVORITE SCIENCE FICTION NOVEL
I haven’t read much science fiction lately, but I loved this sci-fi thriller. It was so interesting, and had amazing world building.
THE FLASH: A BOOK YOU SPED THROUGH
I wasn’t wild about the writing style at first, I ended up getting sucked into this book and tearing through pages. Ness can write suspense so well.
SUPERMAN: SADDEST CHARACTER DEATH (ALTHOUGH WE ALL KNOW THERE’S NO WAY SUPERMAN IS GOING TO STAY DEAD)
Oof…I’m going with the above book again. That one had a death that just gutted me. I’m rarely that affected by a death. I almost cried.
I tag: (I’m not tagging seven people…I’m kinda busy. Sorry…)

Ooooh I loved your answers, Kate! You always have great choices and make me want to desperately read everything. I think I’ll be getting the audiobook for I Hunt Killers soon, and I’m so ready for it after you promote it so much. Wonderful choices and great post as always!! ❤

I hope you like it, and that I haven’t over hyped it. Even if the first book isn’t quite your thing, at least try to look into the second one; it’s even better!

Thanks a ton for the tag! 🙂 It might take a while since I’m doing midterms right now, but I enjoy doing them so will when this studying/testing hell is done with.
Ooo, now I really want to read Marcross and Silence of the Lambs (I’ve only seen the movie). Love your anti-hero choices!

That’s okay! I’m very busy myself too. I mean, I totally forgot to reply to this comment.
Warcross was great. And so was Silence; I just saw the movie, and it was a fantastic adaptation! I was stunned.

You are not missing much. The Justice League movie was average. I think the old cartoons are much better.

Ah this is really cool! I love how each category is a superhero/heroine and describes them perfectly 🙂
I’m really curious about Little Monsters, I love when books surprise us in a positive way (and I love my books dark!)
Thanks for tagging me, Kate ❤

I know, I really liked that too. And if you like your books dark, then you may really like Little Monsters. I’m surprised it was YA, it got so dark. And no problem!
